Cross-Broker Copy Trading CRM for MT5

Copy Trading in MetaTraderCRM follows a published MT5 source strategy and manages linked copies at the same or another broker. It handles new hedging market positions, SL/TP changes and partial/full closes. The workflow combines explicit symbol mapping, per-subscription settings, client consent and a persistent worker.

A route is more than a matching symbol name

An administrator explicitly maps every source instrument to the target broker’s exact symbol. The preview reads contract size, calculation mode, price precision and base/profit currencies; the operator confirms the same economic asset and quote units. A 100,000-unit source contract and 10,000-unit target contract may need a route factor of 10. At source 0.10 lot and subscription factor 0.5, that produces 0.50 target lot before rounding. This is a volume conversion, not an equal-risk or return promise.

Choose settings, simulate, then approve real mode

Use proportional volume or fixed target lots, plus limits for total lots, open copy count, equity, spread and entry age. Filtering applies to source direction before optional reversal. Start in simulation to inspect read-based events without placing MT5 trades. Real copying requires the account owner’s password/2FA consent and a separate target administrator approval. An equity threshold blocks new entries but does not liquidate existing positions. Existing source positions at activation are recorded as a baseline rather than copied late.

Pause, closing and unknown execution

Pause stops new entries while managing linked open copies; resume does not catch up missed entries. Finish-after-close waits, while close-copies-now requires a separate owner confirmation and affects only linked copy tickets. Partial and unknown dealer results require deal evidence, not resending. The worker polls snapshots rather than every tick and can miss a position that opens and closes between reads. Compare Copy Trading with explicitly initiated MAM batches before choosing a workflow; the two modules solve different operating needs.

Copy Trading strategies

Copy new hedging market positions, partial/full closes and SL/TP changes from a published source strategy.

Simulation uses live reads and a separate ledger without MT5 writes. Real subscriptions require owner consent with password/2FA and target administrator approval. Up to 100 strategies and 200 unfinished subscriptions; five subscriptions per connection per worker cycle. Netting, pending source orders, Close By and provider fees are outside this module.

Cross-broker symbol routes

Publish one strategy to several MT5 connections with exact instrument mapping and a verified route multiplier.

Preview checks contract size, price digits, calculation mode and currencies; an operator confirms the same economic asset. No suffix guessing. Route factor 0.01–10, step 0.001. Proportional lots = source × subscription × route, rounded down to target step. Fixed lots ignore the route factor. Contract-size conversion does not guarantee equal risk.

Copy controls & exit workflow

Choose proportional or fixed lots, source direction filters, reverse mode and absolute, relative-distance or disabled SL/TP.

Caps cover open copy count (1–1000), total lots, equity, spread and entry age. Equity only blocks new entries. Pause continues existing-copy management; resume never catches up. Parameter changes require a paused, empty account and renewed real-mode consent/approval. Finish after closures or separately confirm close linked copies now; unrelated positions remain outside that command.

Copy ledger & reconciliation

Read paginated operations, skip reasons and subscription statistics, separating simulation from actual executions.

Exact source and copy position tickets are retained. Queued dealer 200/202 is not a confirmed fill. Partial/unknown opens or closes require verified deal evidence, never blind resending. Manual reductions are not reopened. Snapshot polling can miss a position opened and closed between polls. Statistics describe copying activity, not investment performance.

MetaTrader CRM questions, answered.

Does Copy Trading work between MT5 brokers?

Yes, through verified source-to-target symbol routes for hedging market positions. Choose proportional or fixed volume, limits and optional reverse mode. Real mode requires client consent and target administrator approval. Snapshot polling has execution and latency limitations; simulation does not prove future returns.

What hosting does MetaTrader CRM need?

PHP 8.3+, cURL, PDO SQLite, OpenSSL, iconv, HTTPS and private writable storage. Copy Trading needs a persistent PHP CLI worker on the same filesystem. The promotion site is static and is deployed separately from the operational CRM.
